What we do with the information you give us, and nothing else.
Data controller

Data we collect
Booking form: date, time, number of people, name, e-mail or phone, and if you provide them, your train time and a remark.
Group form: type and name of the event, date, time, number of people, budget per person, special diets, name, e-mail, phone, organisation and your wishes.
In both cases, the language in which you filled in the form. Your IP address is only used to limit the number of submissions in a short time; it is not stored.
Why
To handle your table or group request, reply to you and confirm. You automatically receive a confirmation or acknowledgement e-mail. We do not use your data for marketing and we do not sell it.
Who has access
The restaurant team, which handles your request. Our technical providers: Supabase (storage of the request, database in the European Union) and Resend (e-mail delivery). They do not use your data for their own purposes.
Retention
As long as needed to handle your request and provide the service, then as long as our legal obligations require. You can ask for deletion at any time.
External services
Google reviews and SNCB train times (iRail) are fetched by our server: no data from your browser is sent to these services. The "Directions" button opens Google Maps in a new tab; from there, Google's privacy policy applies.
Website assistant
If you use the assistant ("Any questions?" button), our server sends your messages and the conversation history to Google (Gemini API service) to produce the answer, without your IP address or any other identifier from us.
We use the free tier of this service: under Google's terms, messages may be read and used by Google to improve its products. So do not enter any personal data (name, phone, e-mail, health).
We do not store conversations: they stay in your browser while the tab is open (session storage) and disappear when you close it. Do not enter personal data; to book or request a group proposal, use the website forms.
Answers are generated automatically and may contain errors: only the team confirms a booking, a price or availability.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection: write to [email protected]. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
Analytics (Google Analytics)
Only with your consent ("Accept" button in the banner), we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see what is useful: pages viewed, clicks on Book, Call or Directions, form submission (never its content), opening of the assistant, device type, approximate country and city. Google Analytics 4 does not record your IP address.
Provider: Google Ireland Limited. Transfers to the United States may occur, covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Data kept for 2 months in Google Analytics. No advertising, no profiling, advertising signals disabled.
Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page.
